Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies - Regional Virtual Event

Vaughn received a "Triple H" diagnosis of hemophilia, hepatitis C, and HIV, which he contracted through tainted blood plasma treatments for his hemophilia. He struggled with the death sentence his physician gave him at age 19, and succumbed to a downward spiral - both mentally and physically. But with the support of his wife and care team, he changed his trajectory to defeat hepatitis C, pursue his dream and career and start a family. At age 50, he is one of the longest living HIV positive people in the world and encourages others not to let a diagnosis become the end of the world.
